Hi, I’m Rei

I’m a photographer in the Northern Virginia area. My love for photography started with a beginner’s camera and a curiosity for the world of sports photography.

Sidelines to stadiums

After taking photos at my high school for three years, I went to the University of Alabama and worked for the Athletics program, covering a wide range of collegiate sports while getting a bachelor’s degree in News media.

Lights, Cameras, and concerts

After shooting sports for a while, I began taking an interest in concerts and event photography. I noticed the parallels between the two genres: the action, the emotions, and the highs and lows of getting the perfect shot. While sports is my first love, something about live music has pulled me in. (and let’s be honest, who’s turning down a free concert?)
